We're Seeking:
A Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position until the trainee has received certification of program completion and been placed into a branch. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is a prerequisite to transition into a non-exempt Associate Branch Manager (ABM) or exempt Branch Manager (BM) role.
Job Description:
Our Branch Managers lead, manage, and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports, creating a culture that fosters engagement and commitment to business outcomes. They execute policies and procedures aligned with applicable regulations, audit and escalation procedures, and manage people and financial resources for the branch. In this role, you will:
- Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth.
- Resolve low-to-moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business.
- Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options.
- Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience.
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Requirements:
This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include offering/negotiating terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Required qualifications include 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Additionally, 2+ years of leadership experience are required.
