Salary RangeThe estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team. As a DSP 2, you will support individuals in our Level 2 residential programs, helping them to develop their skills and foster independence.
You will work closely with individuals, their families, and our interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and services. This includes providing support and assistance with daily living tasks, creating opportunities for individuals to make decisions and develop their skills, and maintaining required documentation.
As a DSP 2, you will also be responsible for transporting and accompanying individuals to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program. You will administer medications according to MAP regulations and maintain core training certifications.
This is a full-time position, working Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 AM-11:00 PM (28 hours). The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and one year of driving experience.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have a normal range of eyesight and hearing.
