At Mercury Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality plans, PFMEA, and control plans to prevent defects and ensure product compliance.
- Lead the qualification of new suppliers and internal processes, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a lean quality culture and improve manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, operations project management, or quality position for complex electromechanical assemblies and systems in a DoD environment.
- Knowledge of AS9100 rev D and experience working in an aerospace environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach others.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and across departments.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards, methods, and practices.
- Experience working in a matrix organization, supporting multiple products and projects.
