Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing test plans, producing expert-level test plan documents, and maintaining test databases.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test scripts to ensure quality software is provided for release to production and to certify system changes.
Produce expert-level test plan documents and requirements.
Maintain test databases and ensure their integrity and currency.
Distribute test data from control database to development staff to satisfy adequate unit testing.
Develop, compile, document, and run automated test scripts and test procedures. Run regression tests. Track status of defects.
Provide quality assurance testing for all systems to ensure the development and distribution of quality products.
Assist with roll-out of systems documentation.
Produce lists of defects that are to be resolved and incorporated into future releases of the application as required.
Communicate with analysts and programmers about formal testing plans, problems, and results.
Develop technical documentation and reports.
Manage the release management process for all changes to the baseline IT infrastructure.
Ensure all processes are adhered to appropriately throughout project lifecycles.
Ensure all existing processes are fully documented, suggesting improvements, updating documentation, and communicating all process changes to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Additional four years experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
SAFe Agilist (or equivalent)
Five (5) years experience with software testing
Five (5) years experience creating test plans/procedures
Five (5) years experience in an Agile software development environment

Target Salary Range:
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
