As a Master Surgical Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of surgical technologists in a fast-paced environment. Your primary goal will be to ensure high standards of productivity and quality management in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities- You will supervise and coordinate services, prioritizing assignments and workflow to meet deadlines.
- Mentor and evaluate team members' performance, promoting teamwork and cooperation.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating departmental policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for handling complex or novel issues, utilizing critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is required, with at least 6 months of experience working at UCHealth.
- A State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (DORA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification are also mandatory.
- Prior experience in team leadership and quality management is highly desirable.
