We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duo MFA Product Strategist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for leading the product strategy, development, and enhancement of our Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solution.
Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Duo MFA solution, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.
- Identity and Access Management: Oversee IAM activities, methodologies, and solutions around access control, authentication, authorization, account provisioning, approvals, and workflows, developing IAM governance documentation such as policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Technical Leadership: Lead MFA engineering strategy and execution, setting direction for engineering efforts, driving technology selection, and being actively involved as the functional technical leader during implementation.
- Security Expertise: Demonstrate an advanced understanding of troubleshooting and configuring applications, MFA endpoints, and API integrations, serving as the subject matter expert in authentication and authorization capabilities.
- Project Management: Evaluate and monitor project efforts, timelines, and task management, partnering with internal business units to ensure projects remain on target, within budget, and are completed according to internal policies and security standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with 10+ years' Information Security experience and at least 5 years focused on Duo or other multi-factor authentication solutions.
- Skills: Expert understanding of MFA constructs within Cloud environments, expert level experience with databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, single sign on (SSO), privileged access management (PAM), operating systems, and network infrastructure.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, with a strategic thinker able to translate business goals into actionable product plans.
