Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist with patient preparation, including taking x-rays and intra-oral pictures.
  • Support the dentist's diagnosis and treatment planning by maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist in delivering high-quality dental care.
Requirements
  • Equivalent to a high school diploma or GED, and completion of specified training courses for certification, licensure, or registration.
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by state.
  • Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
