Northwest Acute Care Specialists is seeking a qualified physician with dual board certification or eligibility in emergency medicine and EMS to join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Associate EMS Medical Director.

About the Role

As an integral member of our medical team, you will be stationed at a well-regarded medical facility known for its excellence in emergency services. This facility handles a substantial volume of patients annually, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute medical conditions.
  • Deliver immediate life-saving interventions and oversee prehospital care.
  • Utilize medical history, physical assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
  • Offer supportive care for complex medical and surgical cases until specialists can take over.
  • Provide timely care for non-life-threatening conditions that require immediate attention.
  • Facilitate training sessions for medical and nursing staff on emergency response protocols.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in all clinical practices.

Administrative Duties
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of clinical standards, policies, and quality assurance measures.
  • Engage in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of emergency care personnel.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational committees as needed.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Graduation from a recognized four-year medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine and EMS.
  • Unrestricted medical license in the relevant state.
  • Proven ability to manage a demanding workload with competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant medical software and electronic health records.
  • Commitment to regular attendance and participation in professional development.
