Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Physician to join our team as an Associate EMS Medical Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and contribute to the development of emergency and urgent care services in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction to emergency and urgent care services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with administrative teams and medical directors to develop and implement policies, protocols, and quality assurance guidelines for emergency and urgent care services.
  • Select, train, and evaluate personnel providing emergency and urgent care services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and professionalism.
  • Participate in departmental, hospital, and Legacy Health System committees to review clinical and administrative issues, and contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine and EMS.
  • Unrestricted medical license in the applicable state.
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
