Mobile Medical Care Specialist

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a skilled Mobile Medical Technician to join our clinical team. This role involves working directly with Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our mobile laboratory to provide patient care and gain valuable experience. Extensive on-the-job training is provided for this exciting opportunity in mobile healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Work under supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
- Perform patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law), splint application, wound care, and EKGs
- Operate and maintain point of care laboratory equipment
- Assist NP/PAs in mobile care delivery
- Document patient care and maintain vehicle supplies
Requirements:
- Current EMT certification (WA or NREMT) or Medical Assistant certification (MA-C or MA-P)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- BLS, American Heart Association
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
