Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in directing the housekeeping team and ensuring the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  2. Lead housekeeping staff by assigning specific areas for cleaning and monitoring their performance.
  3. Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning, and restroom maintenance.
  4. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored, performing minor repairs as needed.
  5. Conduct informal inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with cleaning standards.
  6. Keep supply closets organized and stocked with necessary cleaning materials.
  7. Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Supervisor regarding personnel issues and job performance.
  8. Adhere to OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Provide courteous service while safeguarding confidential customer information.
  10. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
  11. Act as a first responder during emergencies and assist other departments as required.
  12. Maintain regular attendance and participate in face-to-face meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in housekeeping is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures is essential.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Valid driver's license is required for operating company vehicles.
