Key Responsibilities- Deliver and distribute finished doors and millwork to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure safe loading, handling, and transportation of products to prevent damage.
- Operate a tractor/trailer combination to transport products to various locations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and relay any customer questions or complaints to supervisor.
- Inspect products for defects or problems before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.
- Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition, including regular maintenance and inspections.
- Assist associates in loading and unloading trucks or building loads as needed.
- Secure cargo for transit and maintain a clean truck.
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and ability to safely operate transportation equipment.
- Two years of truck driving experience required.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to meet BC driver qualifications.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Preferred qualifications: curtain or van experience, knowledge of millwork products, and forklift experience.
