Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Inland Technologies International LTD. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of bulk fluids, including Type 1 non-hazardous waste. You will operate company-owned or leased vehicles, including tractor/trailer/tanker, forklift, and mechanized equipment. Your duties will include documenting and recording log sheets, navigating local and major roadways, and troubleshooting and servicing equipment. If you have a clean driver's abstract, a minimum of two years' commercial driving experience, and a mechanical aptitude, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and navigate company-owned or leased vehicles in excess of four tons, including tractor/trailer/tanker, forklift, and mechanized equipment;
  • Document, record, and track all required log sheets in accordance with FMCSA, DOT, and Inland Technologies International LTD. requirements;
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and service devices, parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles;
  • Service truck with fuel, oil, and other fluids and perform preventative maintenance to tractor-trailer;

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Clean driver's abstract;
  • Minimum two years' commercial driving experience;
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform vehicle maintenance;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to read and interpret written communication and reports;
  • Ability to sit for long periods while driving in possible inclement weather;
  • Ability to use hands and arms to install, position, move, and manipulate items;
  • Ability to climb, balance, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and handle materials;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Work Environment:

  • Position requires sitting and driving for long periods of time.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms;
