About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our Worldpay team. As a key member of our Chief Technology Office (CTO), you'll play a vital role in developing and executing strategic communication plans to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CTO team to deliver effective communications for people programs.
  • Develop and manage the execution of communication strategies and tactics.
  • Advise senior management on communications initiatives to support company objectives.
  • Manage the development, production, and implementation of internal communications.
  • Consult with internal clients to develop communications solutions and utilize communications methods and techniques.
  • Analyze communications policies, procedures, and standards for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Determine the need for and content of graphics to explain and enhance written materials.
  • Edit materials for content, grammar, format, and arrange for production and distribution.
  • Coordinate projects by determining project scope, deadlines, and resources.
  • Meet with internal customers to gather information and make recommendations on organization, style, and tone.
  • Direct the development of communications vehicles, such as management briefs, videos, and special events.
  • Coordinate projects and oversee all phases of production, including planning, writing, and producing with internal/external vendors.
  • Conduct surveys to obtain feedback from employees regarding CTO communications.
  • Coach company representatives to maximize the effectiveness of their presentations to internal audiences.
  • Be a student of the business and learn how the CTO function works and supports the success of the wider Worldpay COO function and overall enterprise.
  • Perform staff leadership and promote motivation through effective management and mentoring.
  • Maintain a budget and ensure all financial objectives and expectations are met.
  • Maintain a history file of communications.
  • Support content and agenda in conjunction with CTO leadership office.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven communication planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Ability to influence and partner within the organization.
  • High energy and positive attitude to work with varying stakeholders and get them through to the final mile of action and outcomes.
  • Persistent and relationship-focused.
  • Experience in technical communication.
  • Ability to respond to assignments with little or no notice, manage shifting priorities, and operate in ambiguity.
  • Must have the ability to handle conflicts and successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Must be able to exercise sound judgment independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Some limited travel may be required.
  • Email marketing experience, preferably Marketo, is preferred.
