Our client has been a trusted name in the construction industry for over six decades, primarily focusing on educational projects, including both higher education and K-12 facilities. Their diverse portfolio has expanded to encompass senior living, non-profit, office, and multifamily developments. With a robust pipeline of projects extending into the future, they are eager to enhance their team with a capable Senior Construction Supervisor experienced in new construction.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Construction Supervisor will be accountable for:

  • Overseeing daily on-site construction operations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Monitoring construction progress to align with project specifications
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Collaborating closely with the project management team to establish and uphold construction timelines
  • Tracking project budgets and expenditures
  • Identifying and addressing any issues that arise

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Senior Construction Supervisor role will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience with K-12 or municipal projects is preferred but not mandatory
  • A proven track record of managing new construction projects from inception to completion
  • OSHA certifications
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Procore
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
