Our Expertise:
We specialize in wellness care, internal medicine, and dentistry, utilizing advanced veterinary technology. Our services encompass heartworm prevention, parasite control, vaccinations, microchip implantation, and nutritional counseling. Our in-house capabilities include cardiology, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, endocrinology, and more. With state-of-the-art equipment, we perform a variety of surgeries (soft tissue, elective, laser, and orthopedic), radiology, therapeutic laser therapy, ultrasound, and endoscopy.

Position Responsibilities:
The role of the Animal Care Technician includes, but is not limited to:

  • Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients
  • Collection and analysis of laboratory samples
  • Diagnostic imaging and management of medical and hospitalized cases
  • Administration of medications and effective communication of treatment plans to clients
  • Surgical preparation and assistance, along with anesthetic management

Candidates must be prepared to handle unpleasant odors and noises and may encounter bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications:
We are seeking individuals who possess:

  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Punctuality and readiness to work
  • A minimum of one year of experience is preferred; CVT/RVT/LVT certification is a plus
  • Weekend availability
  • Exceptional customer service skills and precise communication abilities
  • The capability to interpret medical records and accurately document client histories
  • Knowledge of preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital workflow
  • The ability to safely and effectively restrain pets
  • Proficiency in sample collection, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples
  • Skills in laboratory sample processing and testing
  • Experience in positioning and capturing radiographs, with dental radiograph skills being advantageous
  • Expertise in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
  • A self-motivated approach to enhancing knowledge and skills
  • The ability to receive constructive feedback professionally to maintain operational efficiency
