Our Expertise:
We specialize in wellness care, internal medicine, and dentistry, utilizing advanced veterinary technology. Our services encompass heartworm prevention, parasite control, vaccinations, microchip implantation, and nutritional counseling. Our in-house capabilities include cardiology, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, endocrinology, and more. With state-of-the-art equipment, we perform a variety of surgeries (soft tissue, elective, laser, and orthopedic), radiology, therapeutic laser therapy, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
Position Responsibilities:
The role of the Animal Care Technician includes, but is not limited to:
- Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients
- Collection and analysis of laboratory samples
- Diagnostic imaging and management of medical and hospitalized cases
- Administration of medications and effective communication of treatment plans to clients
- Surgical preparation and assistance, along with anesthetic management
Candidates must be prepared to handle unpleasant odors and noises and may encounter bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications:
We are seeking individuals who possess:
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Punctuality and readiness to work
- A minimum of one year of experience is preferred; CVT/RVT/LVT certification is a plus
- Weekend availability
- Exceptional customer service skills and precise communication abilities
- The capability to interpret medical records and accurately document client histories
- Knowledge of preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital workflow
- The ability to safely and effectively restrain pets
- Proficiency in sample collection, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples
- Skills in laboratory sample processing and testing
- Experience in positioning and capturing radiographs, with dental radiograph skills being advantageous
- Expertise in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
- A self-motivated approach to enhancing knowledge and skills
- The ability to receive constructive feedback professionally to maintain operational efficiency
