As a strategic leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This position demands a unique blend of technical expertise, operational excellence, and people management skills to drive continuous improvement and optimize production processes.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime, maximize equipment efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee a team of skilled technicians responsible for the repair, maintenance, and calibration of manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate closely with production managers to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Manage tooling inventory, ensuring adequate supply and implementing procedures for tool maintenance and replacement.
- Develop and execute capital expenditure plans for equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the maintenance and tooling teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on maintenance and tooling management.
- Proven track record of success in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving operational efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
