Opportunity: The Strategic Communications Manager for Organizational Change plays a pivotal role within the Technology Governance Office (TGO).
This individual is tasked with ensuring that significant "IT for IT" projects and essential strategic initiatives effectively integrate change management, communication, and training strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and enhance the TGO's established framework for change management and communication applicable to all major "IT for IT" projects and strategic initiatives.

- Serve as the change management lead for assigned "IT for IT" projects and initiatives, employing the change management framework as outlined in the TGO Resource Hub.

- Oversee the delivery, facilitation, design, development, and implementation of content to support project change management and communication requirements.

- Manage the execution of change management scope, timeline, and budget.

- Develop and/or refine change management toolkits, training resources, communications, and materials to facilitate project adoption among associates.

- Create documentation and supplementary materials such as job aids and user guides.

- Consult with management, business partners, and project teams to identify suitable solutions for communication, training, and change management.

- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to recognize unique business/regional needs while aligning with the overall objectives and requirements of the identified project.

- Partner with IT executives to address change management and communication needs for their teams and stakeholders.

- Advise on organizational communications, stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, and communication strategies.

- Craft innovative communications, presentations (e.g., town halls), and additional materials as necessary.

- Engage regularly with the Director of Internal Associate Communications and communication colleagues within Kohler's business units to explore opportunities for showcasing or educating on IT initiatives.

- Maintain and refresh the "About IT" SharePoint page as the organization evolves.

- Research, compose, and publish compelling articles (IT Success Stories) on KOHLER Now, celebrating IT teams' accomplishments and contributions to projects that positively impact Kohler.

- Continuously investigate, assess, and apply best change management models suitable for Kohler's work environment and culture.

- Attend change management and internal communications conferences to further enhance knowledge.

- Own and execute the monthly Leadership Group Update.

- Prepare presentation materials, consult on the agenda with the monthly host, and ensure all presenters are adequately prepared.

- Distribute slides and meeting recaps to the audience following the meeting.

Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or journalism.
- Experience and understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proven experience leading change management at a project level.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and implement stakeholder assessments and strategies.
- Systematic approach to gathering feedback and integrating it into a change management program.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and delivery skills, including developing communication plans and deliverables (e.g., email, PowerPoint, visual media).
- Ability to design across various media and delivery methods.
- Self-starter with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal direction.
- Proficient in managing daily workload, prioritizing tasks, and resolving issues.
- Experience overseeing project team deliverables and implementing action plans to achieve objectives.
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams, effectively communicate with both business and technical colleagues, and develop scalable processes across the IT organization.
- Strong influencing, leadership, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in change management from a recognized certifying body is a plus.
- Further education in business administration, operations, or project management is advantageous.
- Requires 3-5 years of experience in change management and internal associate communications or related fields.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $79,500 - $100,450. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including experience, education, and work location.
