Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to learn and improve functional activities
- Timely documentation of patient progress
- Observes patients during treatments and compiles and evaluates data on patients' responses to treatment and progress
- Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices
- Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information
- Gives orientation to new Physical Therapist Assistants and directs and gives instructions to Physical Therapy Technicians
Qualifications:
- Physical Therapist licensure in good standing, or the ability to obtain a Florida state licensure
- Experienced Physical Therapists and New Grads are welcome to apply
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment standards
