Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises, wound care, and other aspects of physical therapy.
  • Document Patient Progress: Accurately document patient progress, including treatment plans, outcomes, and any changes to treatment.
  • Contribute to a Positive Work Environment: Foster a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining open communication with colleagues and providing assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Physical Therapist Licensure: Possess a valid Physical Therapist licensure in good standing, or the ability to obtain a Florida state licensure.
  • Experience and Education: Have a strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices, with a degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
