Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Farmer Focus. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret manufacturer equipment manuals and electronic and electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as assigned and generate and submit paperwork relative to work performed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment within OSHA regulations, lockout-tagout, and company safety book guidelines.
  • Work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production supervisors to identify potential problems and implement solutions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with log and high voltage electrical systems, as well as demonstrated understanding of operating principles of frequency drives, servos, electrical, and PLCs.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot PLCs, I/O, and VFDs.
  • Ability to work a second shift schedule and be available for overtime as needed.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment

The Electromechanical Technician will work in a fast-paced production environment with moderate to extreme levels of noise and odors. The position requires regular standing, walking, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds is also required.
