Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description:

  • Prepare and review complex federal and state corporate tax returns.
  • Prepare and review ASC 740 provision, deferred analysis, and related footnote disclosures.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the state of quarterly tax journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Evaluate tax assessments and exemptions.
  • Assist with tax authority notices and/or audits as needed.
  • Assist in the completion of relevant domestic tax filing obligations, filings related to government-required tax accounting disclosures.
  • Assist in the gathering of data necessary for audits by governmental tax units, data used in the tax compliance process.
  • Perform general research on tax issues.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Corptax, ProSystems, Axcess, and SAP software.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Federal Corporate Tax Return Filing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field.
  • Corptax software and SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • Proficient in filing C-corp tax, state return compliance, and tax research.
  • CPA Preferred.
