Draftsperson (CAD Expert)

We are seeking a skilled Drafter with strong CAD experience to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings, plans, and designs for various projects using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The drafter will work closely with architects, and project managers to develop accurate and detailed plans that meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics based on design specifications.
• Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.) to produce accurate 2D and 3D models.
• Collaborate with architects, and designers to ensure that drawings meet project requirements and specifications.
• Review designs and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Make necessary revisions based on feedback and design changes.
• Ensure all drawings and models are compliant with industry standards and company policies.
• Maintain and organize CAD files and documentation.
• Assist with the purchasing of components for projects and other project-related documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD software and design techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a drafter with extensive CAD experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, drafting techniques, and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction methods is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in drafting or engineering technology preferred.
• Professional certifications in CAD or drafting (e.g., Autodesk Certified User) are a plus.

Work Environment:

• Office environment with occasional visits to job sites.
• Full-time position.
