Job Summary

This position is open to Alaska residents only. The Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development, Division of Corporations, Business & Professional Licensing, is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant 1 located in Anchorage. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Division, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Division, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with data entry, document preparation, and other clerical tasks.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
