As a Retail Sales Consultant with Verge Mobile, a T-Mobile Premium Partner, you will engage with customers and provide outstanding service by promoting T-Mobile products and services to both existing and prospective clients.

Your role will involve establishing a personal rapport, identifying customer needs, assisting in their purchasing decisions, resolving any issues, and maintaining ongoing communication.

Key Responsibilities:


This is a developmental role where new associates collaborate with their team to build skills and prepare for advancement as Mobile Representatives.

Successful completion of new employee training is required.


Utilize your time effectively during shifts, consistently seeking knowledge between customer interactions, and staying informed about advancements in wireless technology.


Develop skills related to serving and selling T-Mobile products while delivering an exceptional customer experience by: Assisting customers in resuming their shopping journey through consultative selling and services.

Identifying individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology available in-store.

Guiding customers through their purchasing journey with insightful questions, informative responses, and sharing your expertise.

Addressing service and sales needs with care, patience, honesty, and empathy.

Achieving a balance between customer service excellence and performance targets.

Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in hospitality, retail sales, or customer service is preferred (experience in wireless retail sales is a plus).

Basic math skills are necessary.

Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Familiarity with wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.

A positive, supportive, and cooperative attitude is essential.


A team player who collaborates with peers and store leaders, sharing ideas while serving customers and resolving issues.

Ability to effectively balance customer needs with performance objectives.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pass a pre-employment background check (qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws).

Legally authorized to work in the United States.
