Overview: The event lead is responsible for both transactional level interaction with guests by providing a customer service experience that exceeds the customer's expectations, as well as supervisory responsibilities for a location within a venue on event day, or day-to-day staff management. They will report to the Management team of retail. This job requires organization, problem-solving and communication skills. They will perform several day-to-day tasks related to standard retail operations, staff oversight, and additional tasks as assigned by the management team. The event lead serves as the acting manager on duty in the absence of management staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:ServiceComplete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfactionEstablish rapport with guests/membersDrive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledgeExceed guest expectationsAct with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests, as well as complete assigned tasks and daily responsibilitiesRespond to guest needs and requestsCoach teammates on best practices and develop staff in accordance with best retail practicesOther duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager SupervisionServe as lead point of contact for event or acting manager in absence of managementUnderstand Levy core signature principals and Rank + Rally core principalsEnsure employees are following all applicable rules and regulations, as well as state laws, with regards to services, breaks, and best practicesProvide leadership within a given area of the operation and communicates needs and challenges with management as appropriateTeach employees best practices as it relates to store standards on service and controlsIdentify areas of opportunity with staff and coaches appropriatelyEnsure all employees are following uniform code, attendance and service policies in accordance with Levy expectationsAssist with stand assignments for eventsAssist with event count-ins, count-outs, setups and sports event preparations ControlsAccurately use POS systemEmploy good safety and sanitation practicesPractice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipmentEnsure all employees are following Levy Core principals by holding themselves and others accountable for store and service standardsCommunicate guest issues to managementAdhere to Levy company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbookManage and control floor inventory and product offeringsComplete all assigned paperwork including checklists, inventory forms, transfer forms, and other paperwork as assignedKnowledgeable of Retail Cloud and atVenu POS systemOther duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager Job Requirements:Lift and transport up to 50 lbsFrequently reach, lift, stoop, bend and clean to maintain store areaWalk and stand during entire shiftAble to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending EnglishEnglish reading, writing and math skills requiredPossible job hazards include but are not limited to: slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains Apply to Levy todayLevy is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
