Job Overview

The Fresh Mark facility is seeking applications for a 2nd Shift Shipping Clerk/Customer Service Representative within our Cold Storage division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that clients receive correctly packed products promptly.
  • Maintain and document all necessary paperwork to ensure proper shipment of products, ensuring all documents are accurately filed.
  • Coordinate customer orders for pickup by liaising with designated freight carriers.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures while executing responsibilities safely.
  • Order and manage shipping materials and supplies to ensure sufficient inventory levels.
  • Receive incoming raw materials and supplies, reporting any defects or shortages.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized.

Typical Work Schedule: This position typically requires five days of work per week (Monday-Friday), with potential overtime based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in clerical and administrative functions.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with strong data entry and typing abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, freight carriers, and supervisors.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to address and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Work effectively and independently in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
