Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
  • Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians
  • Supervise and educate nursing staff on patient care procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • One (1) year of acute care RN experience required; exceptional recent graduates will be considered
  • Two (2) years of RN experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Emergency Department experience preferred
  • New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
  • BSN Degree preferred
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS Training
  • Infection Control Training
  • Certification in specialty preferred
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
