Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for various billing codes.
  • Review supporting documentation to ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare documentation for billing purposes based on week-ending dates.
  • Scan completed billing packets and attach backup documentation to our accounting system.
  • Elevate issues to the Lead/Supervisor if billing deadlines cannot be met.
  • Support the Lead/Supervisor as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assess and problem-solve to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding customer billing issues.
  • Communicate professionally with external parties.
Requirements
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and Word.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Accurate 10-key typing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Efficient time management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, some college preferred.
