We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Team Lead to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize leadership principles to mobilize the patient care team and achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Assist in ensuring staff competence and contribute to staff performance development.
- Assist with and/or prepare work schedules for the department or work group.
- Conduct individual and/or team meetings with the work group to ensure effective two-way communication and resolve issues.
- Promote a positive work environment.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing of an accredited college.
- Two years of experience in a clinical discipline, preferably with demonstrated clinical and leadership expertise.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
- Obtain CPR and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
- Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC) and successful completion of orientation and competency requirements.
