Job Title: Field Service Engineer

IPSEN is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing heat treatment equipment in the Seattle/Tacoma Washington area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with heat treatment equipment at customer sites
  • Execute service jobs, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations
  • Document service jobs and record warranty claims
  • Identify and promote up-selling and cross-selling opportunities for heat treatment equipment
  • Plan and schedule service jobs in coordination with the HUB Lead
  • Accurately record hours worked and job assignments
  • Submit expense reports in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the heat treatment industry and ability to maintain heat treatment equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of customer orientation and customer service mentality
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer operations
  • Ability to promote a professional appearance and represent IPSEN positively
  • Ability to travel as required
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 5+ years of related industrial equipment operation and/or maintenance experience required
  • Experience in equipment calibration, pyrometry, vacuum, thermal, and TUS a plus
