Vancouver School Speech Therapist Position

As a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the academic and social growth of students in our vibrant school district.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a minimum of 1+ years of speech therapy experience to fill this critical role.
This is a contract position that offers 37.5 hours of work per week, spanning from August to June. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a passion for helping students overcome munication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' munication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington.
- A Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially elementary students, is preferred but not mandatory.
