Position Overview
The role involves a variety of tasks related to the troubleshooting and repair of electronic and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and resolving issues in malfunctioning systems and components using appropriate testing equipment and tools.
- Disassembling and assessing electronic and instrumentation units for service, ensuring they are restored to optimal working condition.
- Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on various electronic devices, motors, and mechanical systems.
- Performing calibrations in accordance with relevant industry standards, including ISO-16949 and ISO 17025.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation, and participating in audits as required.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Engaging in safety initiatives and committees as needed.
- Upholding a professional appearance and demonstrating strong customer service skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in electronics repair, or an associate degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proficient in the repair of electronic systems and understanding of technical documentation.
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems and tire testing equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO compliance and safety procedures.
Skills Required
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic proficiency in office software applications.
- Valid driver's license is required.
