Position Overview

The role involves a variety of tasks related to the troubleshooting and repair of electronic and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in malfunctioning systems and components using appropriate testing equipment and tools.
  • Disassembling and assessing electronic and instrumentation units for service, ensuring they are restored to optimal working condition.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on various electronic devices, motors, and mechanical systems.
  • Performing calibrations in accordance with relevant industry standards, including ISO-16949 and ISO 17025.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, and participating in audits as required.
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Engaging in safety initiatives and committees as needed.
  • Upholding a professional appearance and demonstrating strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in electronics repair, or an associate degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in the repair of electronic systems and understanding of technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and tire testing equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO compliance and safety procedures.

Skills Required

  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic proficiency in office software applications.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
