Hospice Support Specialist

Corus Health is seeking compassionate individuals to provide companionship and emotional support to our hospice patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with daily tasks and activities to enhance the patient's quality of life.
- Support patients and families in coping with the emotional and psychological aspects of end-of-life care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in training and orientation to develop skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Requirements:
- Emotional stability and ability to provide emotional support.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with hospice philosophy, policy, and practice.
- New Mexico driver's license and availability of a car.
