About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager - Technical to join our Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning the ideation, design, and development of next-generation, cross-cutting products and solutions for the OTS portfolio.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deeply understand the business impact of OTS infrastructure solutions and make strategic product and technology trade-offs. Your technical expertise and business acumen will enable you to lead the development of mission-critical products that drive significant value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive data and market analysis to drive strategic decision-making for the OTS product portfolio.
  • Define product vision and roadmaps, and prioritize high-impact features to deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze technology alternatives, weigh the pros and cons of different approaches, and propose innovative solutions to address complex product challenges.
  • Identify and deeply understand user needs through rigorous user research, gathering Voice of Customer feedback, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, from senior leaders to OTS customers, to drive alignment on product visions, goals, and requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time.
  • Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting, and launching analytic products.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
  • Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel, and other tools.
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
  • Experience with technologies like Hadoop, rules-based systems, and machine learning.

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
