Radiology Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging of patients.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and fluoroscopy units.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program, obtained within 6 months of hire date.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), obtained within 6 months of hire date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), obtained within 6 months of hire date.
