Quality Assurance Compliance and Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Compliance and Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Ole Mexican Foods, INC. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations, customer specifications, and internal standards.
About the RoleThis position involves monitoring and maintaining compliance with various regulatory agencies, including FDA, USDA, PMO, GFSI-BRC, and local health departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Food Safety Regulatory Requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance and compliance policies and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with co-packers QA plants to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in QA Compliance initiatives to drive greater collaboration and standardization between divisions and copackers QA teams.
- Implement and manage systems for Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Data stewardship, and governance.
- Work with peer groups to design and maintain clear workflows and processes.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and Food Safety Plans (cHACCP).
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Q.A managers, department employees, Plant management, regional management, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Experience in auditing and investigating food safety issues.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs Part 110.0 & 117.0) and BRC requirements.
