Piedmont Wound Care Opportunity
Piedmont is seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team at Piedmont Newton Hospital. This is a full-time position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule and no on-call responsibilities.
You will work collaboratively with two physicians to provide comprehensive care to a diverse range of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services to individuals, families, and groups, including diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non-healing surgical wounds, vascular insufficiencies, wound grafts, and other wound care or hyperbaric oxygen needs.
- Emphasize health promotion and acute and chronic disease management.
- Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.
- Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies, and provide direct patient care services.

Requirements:
- Qualified candidates with at least 3 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a wound care setting.

- Licensed as a Physician Assistant and approved to practice as a PA by State of Georgia with National Certification
