About the Role

Gigi's Playhouse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Wausau location. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of our organization, ensuring long-term sustainability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Playhouse, including staff management, volunteer coordination, and program development.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Fundraising and Development
    • Lead the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to secure grants, sponsorships, and individual donations.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Marketing and Communications
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Playhouse and its programs, including social media, email marketing, and event planning.
    • Manage the Playhouse's website and social media presence to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Community Engagement
    • Build and maintain relationships with local community partners, including schools, businesses, and organizations.
    • Develop and implement programs to engage the community and promote the Playhouse's mission and services.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of experience in social services, non-profit, or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
