Job Description

As a Registered Nurse CVICU, you will be responsible for assessing patient condition during admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. You will also perform procedures and functions as ordered by medical providers, document care administered in the patient medical record, and maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and open-heart patient care.

We require a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and advanced certifications preferred. A minimum of one year acute care hospital ICU RN experience is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced certifications (i.e., CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
