About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our innovative team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting civil/structural design activities, addressing technical issues, and providing on-site support at various utilities and smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support civil/structural design activities, including calculation creation in structural steel or concrete design.
  • Address technical issues related to fabrication, assembly, and construction phases of civil/structural projects.
  • Provide on-site support at various utilities and smaller projects when required.
  • Gain familiarity with analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GTSTRUDL.
  • Aid in maintenance of software compliance records and closure of engineering corrective actions.
  • Become familiar with applicable industry civil/structural codes and standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience required, typically 8-10 years of experience.
  • FE certification is a plus.
