We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Medical Assistant for Pediatrics, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care and administrative tasks
- Perform various clinical procedures, including lab protocols and technical procedures
- Collaborate with the clerical staff to optimize operations and patient flow
- Interact with outside healthcare facilities and agencies to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain updated competencies and demonstrate expertise in patient care and workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service and support the model of patient and family-centered care
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience required
- Preferred: Nursing student from an accredited registered or licensed practice nurse program
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
