Your Role:
As a Senior Systems Engineering Lead, you will guide a team through all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, focusing on the development of advanced Flight Data Recorders. Your extensive expertise in this domain will be crucial in shaping the future of aviation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of system architectures, requirements, and interfaces for complex aviation hardware and software.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, including DO-178C (level D), throughout the verification and validation processes.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members and oversee the Systems Engineering aspects of various projects.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and effectively communicate architectural technologies to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to create solution architectures that meet customer needs and support sales initiatives with technical presentations.

Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems architecture development.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proven track record in embedded software and hardware design, particularly in the context of Flight Data Recorders and Cockpit Voice Recorders.

Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in systems requirements development using modeling tools.
- Solid understanding of avionics systems and electrical interfaces.
- Experience with project management and product development processes.

Work Environment:
This position is available in a hybrid format, requiring a presence in the office several days a week. A comprehensive relocation package is offered to qualified candidates.
