Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform office duties as required
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of administrative and clinical personnel
- Mentor and develop team members while promoting a culture of teamwork
- Encourage and inspire staff to meet both personal and organizational objectives
- Evaluate operational workflows across departments to enhance efficiency and implement best practices
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of front and back office operations
- Guarantee compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and relevant state regulations
- Ensure staff and providers fulfill annual training requirements as outlined by the Compliance department
- Manage payroll processes and assist with HR functions as directed by management
- Participate in management meetings on a regular basis
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding surgical procedures
- Assist in verifying surgical benefits and securing necessary authorizations
- Coordinate scheduling of surgical procedures at accredited facilities
- Keep patients informed about their surgical status
- Manage financial transactions related to surgical deposits and copays
- Ensure timely communication of pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients
- Obtain necessary consents for surgical procedures
- Provide timely updates to the surgical team
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in healthcare management
- Comprehensive understanding of medical office operations to effectively support physicians and administrative staff
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions that align with organizational goals
- Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor when interacting with patients, physicians, and team members
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Proficient in computer applications
- Fluency in Spanish is advantageous
