Key Responsibilities:

We are in search of a skilled Mechanic / Field Service Technician to execute maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive upkeep. Our technicians are expected to showcase exceptional repair capabilities and a strong commitment to delivering an unparalleled customer experience.

Specific duties may include:
  • Diagnosing incoming equipment, disassembling, repairing, reassembling, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Conducting mechanical rebuilds on rotating machinery, including electric motors, pumps, and fans.
  • Measuring and documenting data using precision instruments such as dial indicators and vibration meters.
  • Utilizing multi-meters and other diagnostic tools to assess winding resistance and mechanical fits.
  • Engaging in daily operational discussions regarding customer products.
  • Installing and removing AC and DC electric motors, aligning equipment with precision, and adhering to torque specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally as required.
  • 1-5 years of experience with AC/DC motors is preferred.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical functions.
  • Ability to understand and apply various job-related training and safety protocols.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Experience with PdMA testing and Level I Vibration Analysis is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while applying analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, and to be on call as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform manual labor for long durations.
  • Acute hearing and strong visual acuity.
  • Capability to work in physically demanding and adverse weather conditions.
