Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Reviewer to join our team at Yang Management, Inc. in Southern California. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge and experience in electrical engineering planning, design, and construction of educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical review of proposed electrical plans and specifications for construction projects
  • Provide review comments on adherence to District standards, quality of development, and documentation of electrical design
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the District's Design Guidelines, including the School Design Guide, Educational Specifications, and Technical Specifications
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure conformance to building codes and safety requirements
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control, constructability, and peer reviews of District projects
  • Prepare and review electrical standards and specifications for school buildings and other structures
Requirements
  • 10 years of full-time paid professional experience in electrical engineering planning, design, and construction of educational facilities
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in architecture or electrical engineering or related field
  • Valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential
  • Experience with state and local building codes, construction industry standards, and sustainability requirements
