Job Summary

MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Occupational Therapist to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments, re-assessments, and treatment planning for patients in acute care settings.
  • Implement evidence-based treatment plans to achieve patient goals and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in staff development and education activities to enhance professional growth and competency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of goals and objectives for the occupational therapy program.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • DC licensure or eligibility.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care.
  • BLS certification.
