Job Title: Senior R&D Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Systems Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Russell Solutions Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing novel catheter-based technologies to treat vascular disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceive and develop innovative solutions for medical device products
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and test electrical hardware and software systems
  • Perform lab experiments using standard EE lab equipment and interface with mechanical portions of the system
  • Write test protocols and reports for new prototype systems
  • Iterate hardware and software designs based on system-level testing
  • Test and debug embedded systems at the board and microcontroller level
  • Document work performed, test results, and test reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience, preferably in the medical device field
  • Experience working on embedded systems, at the PCBA and microcontroller level
  • Solid understanding of circuits and hardware
  • Ability to work in the US
