We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Utilities Sr. Associate to join our team at Bristol Myers Squibb. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our critical utilities equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Follow and comply with all EHS guidelines, cGMP regulations, company policies, and other external agency regulations without exception.
- Execute routine to intermediate-level maintenance activities and operate and monitor critical utilities equipment.
- Perform various housekeeping activities, including keeping work areas clean and cleaning of equipment.
- Ensure that operational log and work order documentation is completed with accurate information following good documentation practices.
- Participate in a detailed training program to develop knowledge in the maintenance and operations of critical utilities.
- Assist in the development and revision of SOPs or job plans/work plans for work-related areas.
- Provide basic support for the start-up of critical utilities equipment to ensure it meets all operational design specifications.
- Assist in evaluations of the current maintenance procedures and implement changes to optimize the operation and maintenance of the critical utilities.
- Support on-call response.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in clean utilities operations/maintenance, process equipment maintenance, or a related field.
- Ability to interact and communicate directly with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems used in business, with previous experience using automated work orders and job instructions desired.
- Customer service is paramount, and must build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturing, quality, EHS, and local community and regulatory agencies.
- Working knowledge of power and hand tools.
- Ability to work from blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Ability to research data in Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) manuals.
- Working knowledge of FDA, OSHA, and GMP requirements.
