Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Overlake Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting cardiologists and radiologists in various diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology Lab.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of invasive cardiovascular procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker or defibrillator implants.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during procedures.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and staying organized to deliver excellent care.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest procedures and technologies.
Requirements
  • AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) required.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS) is required.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification is required upon hire.
  • Current ACLS is also required.
  • Two years of related clinical experience preferred.
  • Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience preferred.
